About Us |
We are a small team with big business experience. Based in Somerset with clients throughout the country. |

Colette trained in London and worked there for 10 years, when the demands of family life brought her back to the West Country.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has enjoyed working for Saffery Champness and KPMG, as well as Somerset based firms before setting up her own business with Stephen.
Colette loves the freedom of working in a small dedicated team giving top quality service to her clients. She is an active networker and has built strong connections with local solicitors, bank managers and financial advisors.
When she escapes the office she seeks light relief in a glass of wine and cycling in the beautiful Somerset countryside-although not at the same time!

Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young in Hull and then moved to London where he specialised in tax with Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
He joined Saffery Champness in London and headed up a corporate and personal tax section.
Stephen moved to Taunton with his wife Penny and two daughters and started the practice in 1998.
When Stephen leaves the office his commute is a short walk next door to enjoy family life and retreat to the vegetable plot. Stephen is a football fan, supporting Liverpool and Grimsby. He enjoys watching the Somerset cricket team and playing friendly cricket. He is a keen follower and participator of environmental issues and in recent years has spent the winter preparing for the London marathon.

Patricia trained at VKP Coopers (now PWC) in South Africa before returning to the UK to work in London, later on spending three years in Dubai working for Whinney Murray (now E&Y) and then three years in Kenya working again with Coopers before returning once again to the UK. With a husband who is a spice trader it was necessary to be flexible and move around and that in turn gave a wonderful opportunity for diverse experiences professionally. Whilst abroad and on her return Patricia has specialised in non-resident tax matters and domicile for both British and non-British nationals. On returning to the UK Patricia worked in Esher and Teddington before moving to the west country with her private clients in the early 1990's setting up a team committed to providing a dedicated professional and personal service to individuals, businesses and companies specialising in particular in taxation, general accounting, non residence and domicile matters. Patricia brings to the merged firms a wealth of experience, an enormously diverse client base together with many overseas clients coupled with an experienced longstanding team.
Patricia's interest are tennis, walking and travelling as shown in the photo taken during the 100km Great Wall Challenge in China. The great outdoors being a great antidote after dealing with the Revenue from day to day!

Neil is certainly a local; his family has been on the same farm for about 100 years to date. This background has given him a keen sense of community that has fuelled activities such as a 300 mile walk in aid of church roof renovations, acting as a director at Taunton Town FC, and treasurer at St George's Church, Wilton. More recently family commitmentshave absorbed most of his spare time.
To broaden his experience after A levels he went to University College London but returned to Taunton to embark on an accountancy career with one of the larger firms in town. He has been working with Patricia for over 17 years, and there are not many accounting systems or types of business that have not crossed his path. It has proved an effective working relationship that is now embarking on an extra dimension.
